Wisconsin Potato and Vegetable Growers Association

Ranked third in the nation for potato production, and number one east of the Mississippi, our growers work together to provide the best Wisconsin potatoes and vegetables for consumers. To that end, we established the Wisconsin Potato and Vegetable Growers Association in 1948. Headquartered in Antigo, Wisconsin, we help our growers conduct and utilize the latest research and technologies, garner government support, produce environmentally-sound research and stay in touch with consumers.
We created the Wisconsin Healthy Grown™ initiative — sustainable farming that uses environmentally sound crop inputs, integrated pest management techniques and promotes the conservation of water, resources and Wisconsin’s native ecosystems.
We also promote Wisconsin potatoes by communicating the great things our farmers are doing, the health and nutrition potatoes naturally provide and the importance of buying local and supporting your local economy. Featuring unique ways to prepare potatoes is our specialty since we have a potato recipe that fits any occasion, even if you need a dessert!
So, whether you’re looking for unique, healthy and savory recipes, a chance to meet the growers who are feeding your family or information on their sustainable growing practices, you’ve come to the right place! We look forward to getting to know you.
