Our story began in 1915, when Cloverdale founder Hoy Russell started Mandan Creamery in Mandan, North Dakota. From the day he opened, Russell insisted on uncompromising quality, and his small creamery quickly earned a reputation for supplying the best-tasting, freshest dairy products.
Building on that success, a few years later the company introduced a line of premium pork products that steadily attracted more and more loyal customers. This set the stage for the Cloverdale Foods you know and love today. We’re best known in the Midwest for traditional regional favorites like tangy summer sausage, franks and teardrop hams; we’re known nationally for our award-winning thick-cut bacon.
Thank you for bringing our Cloverdale family of products into your kitchen.
